Top Fat Burners Sound Great, But Do They Work?
Will top fat burners help you lose weight? Often people who are eager to quickly lose weight turn to fat burners. These diet pills are formulated with special ingredients that promise to help dieters to lose weight immediately.
While some fat burners can be taken in liquid form, others are large pills. You may have already heard of some of the top fat burners, which include Phentemine375, Hydroxycut, Nitric-Oxide and Xenadrine.
How Do Fat Burners Work?
Fat burners claim to speed up your metabolism. Their results are usually based on thermogenesis. This process is supposed to convert food into heat, rather than converting it into fat.
While most fat burners promise that this will work for dieters, the fact is that science doesn’t show that thermogenesis is safe for dieters. In fact, there is no conclusion evidence that thermogenesis will work at all.
If you are looking to buy the top fat burners, the price tends to be quite expensive. So it is possible that rather than achieving weight loss results, you will simply be left with a rather large debt to pay off on your credit cards!
Important Safety Concerns
Often the ingredients in fat burners are untested. Further, there are also a host of side effects that have been reported to accompany fat burner ingredients, such as Ephedra, Chitosan and Pyruvate. Just because ingredients are herbal does not necessarily mean that they are healthy!
For example, ephedra has been shown to cause issues including high blood pressure, seizures and heart attacks. This Chinese herb is also sometimes known as ephedrine. Worse, there have actually been deaths reported that are associated with ephedra. The FDA banned products with ephedra in 2004, so now many companies use pseudoephedrine instead.
Also caffeine is a very common ingredient in fat burners. Unfortunately, like ephedra, high doses of caffeine can cause negative side effects. Most people who take fat burners report that they have at least some incidents of insomnia, tremors and headaches. There are safer ways to burn fat.
Always Check with Your Doctor
Before you take the top fat burners or any other diet supplements, it is imperative that you check with your doctor. The fact is that some of these supplements should be avoided if you are taking other medications. It is possible that your doctor will tell you that this is an extremely dangerous path to follow.
Boosting your metabolism is a great way to lose weight. However, most health professionals recommend skipping the fat burners and instead opting to increase your level of physical activity and improve your diet.
